Friends, I have some exciting news: we’re having a baby! For the last six months, Lily has been gestating a wee chap, whom we have somewhat prematurely named Rochbert Ozymandias Wolverine (the latter a loose phonic portmanteau of “Lavery” and “Woodruff”). Among the many exciting elements of this boon has been the opportunity to watch my partners, whom I love so deeply, become a mom and dad—Lily visibly, and all of us with gladdened and inspired hearts. Keep our multilateral parenting squad in your hearts and vibes until early April—Rocco is going to be an Aries, inevitably—and a dragon, less so. In short, we look forward to introducing you soon to the gayest baby in the tri-state area, and therefore a favorite for sectionals. Gleeful holidays to all xoxo
