California high school students Sanjana and Aditya love hiking in local forests – but as wildfires raged through the region, they wanted to figure out how to prevent them. After discovering that levels of biomass (grass, leaves, fallen trees and branches) are great predictors of wildfires, they turned to TensorFlow, Google’s machine learning tool, to build a biomass sensor that relays data to local fire departments. See our story today to learn more about how these students are fighting fires with machine learning. #SearchOn
