Jones Powell Neate was born at 11:43 pm May 21st at 8lbs 4oz in the comfort of his own home in just an hour and a half. We planned on going to the hospital but this little guy had another plan. It was messy and scary and fast but somehow perfect. He was born with his aunt watching through the window, midwives in masks and paramedics having just exited donning their full body protective gear. Daddy was amazing and helped mommy through an excruciating labour and his big sister was a rockstar through the entire thing, while Kingston slept through it all and woke up to the surprise of a new brother. It was scary for a few moments when his heart rate dropped; but our amazing team at @pacificmidwiferypractice got him out and in mamas arms safely.
