Today is a bitter sweet day for me as I officially announce my retirement from professional soccer. My gratitude and love for this sport, the lessons learned, and the appreciation and respect for the people I’ve met along the way is difficult to express in words. Soccer was my first love. All I dreamed of growing up was playing professional soccer and I dedicated my life to making this my reality. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. This game taught me more about myself and about life than I could have ever imagined. It brought me some of the greatest moments of my life as well as some of the toughest, and I am so thankful for them all. Thank you to all the organizations, coaches, teammates and fans that have been part of my journey. To everyone who supported me along the way, thank you. To my teammates, thank you. You all have been the biggest inspiration and I leave this game with some of the most amazing friendships in the world. To my family, you are my rock. None of this would have been possible without you. Thank you for being with me through every high and low. I love you so much. I leave the game with so much love and gratitude. Thank you 🙏🏼 ❤
