#tbt when Lincoln County had brothels. There were 3 of them, all along Highway 93, near the Clark/Lincoln County line. They were called, “Betty’s”, “ @sherisbrothel “ and “Kitten Kreek”. Oddly, not many photos exist of the former brothels, but pictured is a news clipping from 1977 of Kitten Kreek. The next year, in 1978, voters voted to outlaw brothels.
