Oliver Goethe kicks off 2022 season in Asia ROFGO Junior driver Oliver Goethe will compete in the 2022 Formula Regional Asian Championship with 3Y Technology by R-ace GP Goethe made his single-seater debut in 2019 and graduated to F3 machinery in 2021, racing in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, one of the most competitive junior feeder series in the world. Oliver, who is currently attending his first year of sixth form at Millfield School will spend the first half of the Spring Term preparing for the next step in his career in the Middle East. Formula Regional Asian Championship, formerly known as Asian F3 Championship provides the perfect training ground when the racing stops in Europe. The series has seen numerous highly talented drivers on its grid in the past four seasons, including the reigning champion who landed a Formula 1 seat for the 2022 season. The 2022 FRAC calendar consists of five rounds shared between the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi and the Dubai Autodrome. Oliver joins the newly formed 3Y Technology by R-ace GP, a joint effort of Dubai-based 3Y and junior single-seater stalwart R-Ace GP, a French team that amassed eight championships in Formula Renault and won the inaugural Formula Regional European Championship. “I am excited to get such an early start to my 2022 campaign."- said Goethe. "I usually spend the winter breaks in the gym and on the sim to prepare for the season ahead, but that doesn’t come close to getting actual track time, especially in such a competitive championship.
