12 years married. July 23, 2005. I've never shared the real date, or this picture, until today. Richard and I have so much to be grateful for. When I was in my 20's I couldn't imagine a world where it would be ok to be gay. In 2017 I can't imagine how it must feel to be trans and fear for your safety, your dignity or your livelihood.
