In short, no less than PRRD said SOGIE Bill should be enacted into law.
Note that this post is not about my stance on SOGIE, but on the irony that this latest development creates.
If you are not an Ultramegaelectromagneticka-DDS, this post DOES NOT APPLY to you.
Going back, I suddenly remembered netizens who are quick to attack any blogger who criticizes the policies and/or appointees of the PRRD Administration. You see, a significant subset of these netizens are staunchly anti-SOGIE Bill.
Tinira mo si Salalima? OMG Pekeng pro-Duterte ka!
Tinira mo si Panelo? OMG Pekeng pro-Duterte ka!
Tinira mo si Roque? OMG Pekeng pro-Duterte ka!
Tinira mo si Andanar? OMG Pekeng pro-Duterte ka!
Tinira mo si Dominguez? OMG Pekeng pro-Duterte ka!
Yeah, those who bash others for being "pekeng pro-Duterte", as if being pro-Duterte is the apex of political morality.
With these said, how will these staunchly anti-SOGIE people react to PRRD's openly aggressive support for SOGIE Bill?
I mean, paano pag tinira nila ang SOGIE Bill, will they admit to being "Pekeng pro-Duterte" too?
I am really, really curious about what's gonna happen next.
More interestingly, what would rabidly pro-Duterte bloggers, who are anti-SOGIE and who quickly accuse others of treachery against Duterte, do?
Will they consider themselves traitors against Duterte, too?
