It is thought to be at the band's January 1965 concert at RAF Uxbridge, that they changed their name from The Tea Set, to The Pink Floyd Sound, due to the incredible coincidence of another band being on the bill with The Tea Set as their name. During 1965, they occasionally were still billed as The Tea Set, before settling on their more familiar name. During that summer, Rado Klose left the band.
The band was made up of:
Roger 'Syd' Barrett - rhythm guitar, vocals
Rado 'Bob' Klose - guitar, vocals
Nick Mason - drums
Roger Waters - bass guitar, vocals
Richard Wright - keyboards
