BRINGING BACK A LEGEND
One of the worst kept secrets is out……..Pacific Aerospace is bringing back the Cresco after a hiatus of almost 20 years!!
Pacific Aerospace CEO, Mark Crouch, confirmed today that a New Zealand customer has placed an order for a new Cresco aircraft.
... Dubbed the CRESCO II, the new aircraft will have some modifications, mainly around pilot safety and comfort, but will otherwise be essentially unchanged.
“This is an exciting development for both the company and the agricultural aviation industry” says Crouch. “Ultimately it was a customer demand driven decision”.
The original Cresco was itself an evolution from the 1950s Fletcher, many of which are still flying in both agricultural and skydiving roles.
