Today, the National Civil Defence Cadet Corps (NCDCC) celebrated its 12th anniversary since its establishment in 2005. From humble beginnings comprising pioneer cadets from 12 schools, the NCDCC family has grown to more than 35 schools.

Officiated by Guest-of-Honour Ms Low Yen Ling, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Trade and Industry, this year’s NCDCC Day saw the unveiling of the NCDCC formation patch, designed in-house by staff from the NCDCC H...Q to reinforce the identity of NCDCC cadets and officers. NCDCC also introduced its first mascot named "Cadet Leo", symbolising values such as confidence, strength, perseverance, compassion and optimism among the cadets.
