A message from Michael Franzino:
It is with a heavy heart that I announce my departure from Sianvar. Sianvar is by nature a side project, something we all find time to make happen when our primary bands have nothing else going on. We all signed on in hopes of filling our lives with more music and touring in our down time rather than working regular jobs. However, upon the disbanding of A Lot Like Birds, the nature of the band has changed for me. Rather than filling unused ti...me, the band is now taking time and attention away from the lofty and demanding endeavor before me of rebuilding a new primary musical entity. Though I enjoy playing the bass guitar and am proud of my contributions to Stay Lost, my musical identity and sense of purpose lies in composing, and I can no longer neglect that need. I wish the band well in my absence on the second LP, and will have news for you of my next endeavor as soon as I can. I have a long road ahead of me, and I intend to get it right this time. Thank you for every floor to sleep on, piece of merch purchased, and kind word spoken over the years, I hope to see you all again soon.
