It has been advertised that KMFDM would appear at “alt-fest” in the UK in the summer of 2014.
We had for some time considered this possibility but then decided against it and instead, made arrangements to tour the US at that specific time.
Meanwhile, as the result of a lack of communication (of which several parties involved may be found guilty), and unbeknownst to KMFDM, the organizers of “alt-fest” proceeded to advertise KMFDM’s appearance.
As could be imagined, all parties involved in this will now want to pass the buck.
Therefore the coming “press-releases”, “statements” and what have you, should be viewed considering the above described circumstances.
Fact remains: if it were at all possible for us to be there we would, unfortunately that won’t happen.
