*** Message from the A/Commandant NZCF ***
Following receipt of a number of extremely high calibre nominations, I am very pleased to announce that Cadet Warrant Officer Aaron Mulligan of No.32 (Borough of Feilding) SQN ATC has been selected as the NZCF Cadet of the Year for 2019.
The Cadet of the Year Award is a nomination and selection process that recognises the cadet who most exemplifies the NZCF core values of Courage, Commitment, Comradeship and Integrity, during a cale...ndar year.
Any cadet (CDTWO1(E) and below) can be nominated for the Cadet of the Year Award.
The Selection Panel looked for the individual that best exemplified the complete set of NZCF values, ahead of an outstanding example of one or more of the values. The panel also considered those qualities and contributions by the nominees towards any current organisational priorities.
I congratulate CDTW/O Mulligan on his selection. He has been an outstanding performer over the last twelve months and has been an excellent ambassador for his Unit, his Corps and the NZCF in that time.
CDTW/O Mulligan will be presented his award shortly and will represent the NZCF at the NZDF Person of the Year Awards later this year.
