Last year, CDTW/O Amy Vallance won the title of Cadet of the Year for 2016. The Cadet of the Year competition is back again for 2017. The competition pits cadets from all over the country, across all three corps, against each other in a series of both physical and mental challenges, with the winner being awarded the opportunity to attend a significant overseas commemorative activity.
This year the competition will be held at Devonport Naval Base on the 30 September.

As per th...e Warning Order, 5141/1/5 dated 18 July, all NZCF 8's accompanied by a written submission (100-200 words), stating why the applicant should be selected, are to be with the Area Offices NLT 12 noon 18 August 2017.
Applicants must be between 15-19 years of age on the day of the competition and be CDTWOII(E) or below.
