McDonald’s Tantex used its crew Facebook Groups as collective shaming tools. Staff were scolded for daring to have sick leave while others were sacked for sharing union posts. One of their last posts was a demand workers not ‘share’ or ‘like’ our outing of their threat to ban toilet and water access.
