Early #ThrowbackThursday post - with a better photo but see the below post for his bio in the program ;)

This is taken from a 1955 Tour Playbill of The King & I at The Royale Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, Canada. I laughed at dad's bio in the playbill and asked grandma about it. She had no idea who came up with the erroneous "National sporting event" information and guessed it was written by a tour manager as she didn't write it. What I found interesting was the "Territory of Hawaii" reference (Hawaii wasn't a state yet.)
